Nanotube Composite Processing for Property Manifestation

This presentation will review the thermal, electrical and mechanical properties of high concentration carbon nanotube composites, produced at NanoLab, using CVD synthesized and functionalized carbon nanotubes. The links between synthesis, functionalization, and composite processing will be explored, in relation to the properties obtained in the final composites. Composites that will be discussed include nanotube reinforced ceramic materials and nanotube-epoxy systems.
